I received my first copies this week – a joyful and agonising experience. Joyful because yay it’s my book! Agonising because, inevitably, I keep seeing things I want to change or tweak or improve.
Overall though, I think it’s pretty good. Ultimately, I wanted to explore a whole range of subjects as visually and beautifully as possible, with the minimum of text. I hope I managed it and I hope you enjoy it.

i also got a misprinted book. i sent an email to orders@harpercollins.com and all they needed is my address and they are going to send me a correct copy. hope this helps.

David – Any update on the printing errors?
I want to order a copy of the book from amazon.com to ship to New Zealand but am hesitant about getting a copy with a printing error.
I got one copy off the amazon marketplace from a uk-based seller
because it is only available in Germany starting from three to six weeks (that’s where i live).
However there are also alot of misprintings in it (i’ve counted like 5 now), text not even showing up/missing (3x) plus colors marking off to the opposite page (2x).
Seriously it looks like i got half-finished stuff being rushed out from the factory too early.
Beside that i feel quite strange having recommended it to quite a few friends,
just for the fact that they’ve also pre-ordered on amazon few days ago.
What am i going to do now ? Is there any solution ?

Hi David, thanks for the great book! I really love it, even with all the errors – but these are still annoying and i wonder how this much errors could pass. I would really appreciate a pdf with the updated version of the misprinted diagrams.
While I love the book, (I spent the entire afternoon reading it from cover to cover) I was disappointed to find that there are missing texts on pages 60-64. Is there a way to receive the complete art for these pages?
Why does the UK version have less pages? Is there a significant difference in the content?
I’d much rather like to buy a hardback copy with the US cover.
Can’t wait to get my hands on a copy!
