The Visual Miscellaneum sold out in North America over Christmas. Woo! Thanks to all those who bought a copy.
Thanks to my publishers HarperCollins, I now hold what could be the last five copies of the first edition.
I’d like to sign them and give away to you, lovely readers. Before this site goes all Information Is Beautiful on your ass.
To enter the prize draw, just leave a comment below.
On Saturday 16th January I’ll pick five winners at random and contact them via email.
(BTW Apols for the lack of updates recently. I’ve been working on some cool new stuff to be released v. soon).
UPDATE: Thank you for all your entries and the lovely comments. I have been blushing continuously all week. Comments are closed now. But I’ll be picking winners on Monday 18th.

Tom.

Looks like an excellent book. I find your work and the work you present very inspiring. How long until the 2nd edition is available? Or reprints of the 1st edition??

As a librarian I could agree more that information is beautiful. I would love to be distracted by you book being on my desk :o)
Stumbled onto your book via infosthetics.com and would love to own a copy. I’ve bookmarked your site and will return often to explore it further. Keep up the good work!
I bought your book for my brother for Christmas, but I noticed that many of the charts (at least 10 that I saw during a quick perusal, there may be more) are MISSING LABELS on the axes or on other pertinent features (for example, the one about major versus virgin at graduation). For someone so into transmitting information, this lack of editing is must be unacceptable. I am interested to see what you propose as a solution. Perhaps you could send me one of the signed copies with the labels WRITTEN IN? :-)
One of my favorite visualisations is the left versus right political spectrum. This and the Guardian Datablog are excellent. Fingers crossed.
Would be an awesome prize! Keep up the good work. Love the blog.
love your clear thinking and creative displays. Here’s hoping for my own copy. Thanks
