The Visual Miscellaneum sold out in North America over Christmas. Woo! Thanks to all those who bought a copy.
Thanks to my publishers HarperCollins, I now hold what could be the last five copies of the first edition.
I’d like to sign them and give away to you, lovely readers. Before this site goes all Information Is Beautiful on your ass.
To enter the prize draw, just leave a comment below.
On Saturday 16th January I’ll pick five winners at random and contact them via email.
(BTW Apols for the lack of updates recently. I’ve been working on some cool new stuff to be released v. soon).
UPDATE: Thank you for all your entries and the lovely comments. I have been blushing continuously all week. Comments are closed now. But I’ll be picking winners on Monday 18th.

Not quite info graphics, but it is another way of displaying “please choose me, I’d really love a copy!” And I really, really would.

Hey,
I’m really interested in the random-method you use for picking out the winner :P
:)
May I have a signed copy, please?
(It’s about 30 minutes I’m thinking on what to say to convince you: I’m over!
I just hope that kindness will be enough *^_^*)
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine.
You make me happy when skies are gray.
You know the rest.
Oooh me. Memememe! -jumps about-
Although, 1422 comments – meh.
Looks great. I wonder if there is any code included for generating some of the graphics, or if you will set up a site for sharing of such code…

Lovely.
I’ll own the book anyway, but it’s the signature I covet.

I want to use the signature on my passport application form
By gum, but I covet that book.
I am a big fan. This would be a great book for our library.
Thanks for offering the drawing.
I am too buying the book anyway but the signed copy is way cooler. :)
Hey! I’m from mexico city, and love your work, its pretty amazing.
I order mine from Amazon for Chrismas, since December 22, 2009. But they just told me: Not yet shipped. We’ll notify you via e-mail when we have an estimated delivery date for this item. It will ship separately.
Now I understand why I never get it. I would totally love to have one of the last five copies of the first edition. Specially if you sign them.
If I dont win, congratulation for your work, and I will wait for the next reprint.
Roberto.

Wow. I found this site only recently and didn’t know there was a book or I would have bought it. Well, here’s my slim chance! :)
This is so interesting for my design thinking studies I would love that book! Greetings from Berlin, keep on doing your great stuff!
How randomly will they be selected? select me!
I’d love a copy !
Bye !
I just found the site today. It would be great to start off reading the book.
At the time I write, there are 1423 posts, meaning I have 0.35% chance of winning a book. Or as ladbrokes use to say (they went decimal this week) odds of 1/284.
yes please :)
I’d love to win a copy – please enter me in the draw!
Shame. I featured your book on my blog back in December… and no, Santa did not come up with the goods!

If I get one I could translate it to French for free – there is no much text right?? ;)
thanks anyway for the great work
The beautiful information is more powerful. I would like that school books have information like that.
I would LOVE to win a signed copy! THanks you all of your hard work and amazing results…they are simply beautiful!
I knew I should have pre-ordered it… I would love a copy. (crossing my fingers)
Certainly generated lots of interest, I’ll represent New Zealand in the free book draw.

Thanks for this great offer! Congratulations on your North American success.
I would normally never want to read a book just for the cover, but in this case, I might make an exception.
Your work is very inspirational.
